Wilson & Morgan Caol Ila 10 Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Wilson & Morgan Caol Ila 10 Years Old Cask St is a limitied edition 10 Year old single malt scotch whisky, distilled in 2012 by the Caol Ila Distillery and bottled in 2023 at cask strenght, only 830 bottled were produced.

It is an intense and very aromatic whisky, but also very well balanced. on the nose, the peat smoke is initially slightly restrained, it remains hidden by the alcohol and its marked fruity notes (pears, bananas, lemon peel). The tarry and ashy smokinessbecomes immediately evident at the first sip, Well balanced and not overwhelming. The background sweetness makes it rounder and easy to drink, the dark bonfire notes are matched by an equivalently intense breezy, fresh and balsamic touch of mint and camphor. It has a very long, lingering and warm aftertaste.
