The Bellang family’s family tree in Meursault goes boak to 1789, and since then, the family has been growing grapes and producing wine.\u00a0In 1974 Christian Bellang took over his parents’ estate, with vines mainly in Meursault, and some of his father-in-law’s vines in Savigny l\u00e8s Beaune. His son, Christophe, joined him in 1995. Together they expanded the estate with plots in Meursault, Savigny l\u00e8s Beaune, Chorey l\u00e8s Beaune and Beaune. Today Christophe manages the estate, now totaling 9 hectares.<\/p>\n
The Bellang Savingly l\u00e8s Beaune Blanc is made from 100% Chardonnay vinified in oak barrels and aged in barrel (20% of which is new wood) for 10 months.
